The major exports of Egypt are agricultural products and petroleum.
What Egypt imports from China the most are the light-industrial products, such as hardware and mechanical equipment. If you have a chance to travel in Egypt, you will find their hardware shops basically sell products made in China.
Egypt has introduced a new policy to restrict imports from China since the 1st April 2015. The goods importing from China must meet the national standards or the six international standards that Egypt recognizes. The goods that are not up to these standards will be returned. The certificate for pre-shipment inspection must indicate the standard number. If the number is missed, the goods will not go through the customs.
Generally, the products exporting from China to Egypt will need the following documents.

2. Invoice
3. Packing list
4. Custom Declaration
5. Entrusting Letter of Customs Declaration
6. Inspection Certificate for industrial products
Also, the clients in Egypt have to prepare these documents to deal with the customs clearance.
